Mabalacat City Mayor Atty. Geld Aquino met with Atty. Jose Arturo Tugade, Executive Director of the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), at the TRB main office in Greenhills, San Juan City to discuss the integration of the Atlu-Bola Bypass Road with the NLEX Sta. Ines Exit.

The project aims to ease traffic congestion along MacArthur Highway near the city public market by providing motorists with an alternative route from the Sta. Ines Exit toward Barangays Dolores and Tabun.

Mayor Aquino recently met with officials of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), operator of NLEX, to ensure the bypass road project prioritizes safety, accessibility, and convenience for Mabalaquenians.

The local business community has expressed strong support for the initiative, citing its potential to boost economic activity and make Mabalacat more attractive to investors.

Joining Mayor Aquino in monitoring the project are City Administrator Geraldine Bernardino, CPDO Head Rosanno Paquia, City Engineer Engr. Rod De Leon, City Legal Officer Ponciano Dela Cruz, and CPDO staff Engr. Elvis Mikael De Leon and Paolo Miguel De Leon.
