Magalang Mayor Malu Lacson has expressed her support for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Earlier, Lacson joined Transportation Assistant Secretary for Right of Way and Site Acquisition IC Calaguas during an inspection of the DOTr’s designated planting site in Barangay Ayala, Magalang. The area now hosts around 29,000 seedlings planted as part of the agency’s environmental initiatives tied to the railway project.

The NSCR is a flagship infrastructure program aimed at improving mass transportation and regional connectivity in Luzon.
