The Municipality of Marilao officially launched two new 3-wheeled biodegradable bin collectors last February 2, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve waste management and promote a cleaner, more sustainable community.

The inauguration was led by Mayor Jemina M. Sy and attended by DILG Central Luzon Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, CESO III, and DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, CESO V. The event underscored the local government’s commitment to effective solid waste management and environmental stewardship.

The newly acquired three-wheeled units are designed to enhance waste segregation at source, making collection more efficient while encouraging residents to participate in proper waste disposal practices.
