Even on a holiday, Porac Mayor Jaime “Jing” Capil wasted no time in starting the year with on-the-ground work, as he conducted an inspection of a proposed covered court and a newly constructed concrete farm-to-market road in Barangay Salu on January 2, 2026.

Mayor Capil was joined by Barangay Captain Noel Sarmiento and members of the barangay council during the site inspection, which aimed to assess the progress and suitability of the planned and completed infrastructure projects for the benefit of residents.

The inspection highlighted the local government’s continuing efforts to improve community facilities and road access, particularly projects that support daily activities, mobility, and livelihood in the barangays.

The activity underscored Mayor Capil’s commitment to public service, emphasizing that work in local governance continues regardless of holidays, as part of his administration’s goal to deliver responsive and people-centered development for every Poraqueño.
