Malabacat City Mayor Geld Aquino commended and thanked city government employees for their cooperation during the first week of the implementation of the four-day workweek.
During the flag-raising ceremony on Monday, March 16, Aquino expressed appreciation to employees for complying with the new work scheme while continuing to deliver public services efficiently.
Earlier in the day, the mayor visited various offices at City Hall to conduct an inspection and monitor the condition of government offices. He noted the preparedness of personnel in maintaining smooth and reliable services for the public.








Aquino also said department heads will continue strict monitoring of electricity consumption and the use of fuel for government service vehicles to ensure the responsible utilization of government resources.
During the ceremony, the mayor also announced the appointment of Oscar Deang Jr. as concurrent city administrator while continuing to serve as city accountant of the local government unit.
The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council led by Jeffrey Santos. Also present were city councilors Marjorie Sambo, Patricia Acorda, Ike Morales, and Errol Jake Soliven, along with department heads and representatives from the Philippine National Police and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
