Mayor Geld Aquino inspects Mabalacat Central Pharmacy supply, ensures free medicines

Mabalacat City Mayor Geld Aquino visited the Central Pharmacy of the Mabalacat City LGU in Xevera, Tabun to check the availability of medicines for residents.

The city government said the inspection aims to ensure that the pharmacy maintains sufficient supply of essential medicines for Mabalaqueños.

Residents and patients may avail of free medicines by presenting a valid prescription, certificate of indigency, and a valid ID at the Central Pharmacy.

The facility is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The Central Pharmacy currently offers a wide range of medicines, including treatments for respiratory conditions, infections, hypertension, diabetes, and other common illnesses.

Among the available medicines are acetylcysteine, amoxicillin, aspirin, atorvastatin, azithromycin, insulin, calcium supplements, carvedilol, cefixime, cefuroxime, cetirizine, clindamycin, clopidogrel, co-amoxiclav, digoxin, fenofibrate, gliclazide, irbesartan, iron with folic acid, levothyroxine, losartan, metformin, metoprolol, montelukast, multivitamins, paracetamol, potassium supplements, rosuvastatin, salbutamol, sodium bicarbonate, tamsulosin, telmisartan, tramadol, trimetazidine, and valsartan, among others.

The continued availability of medicines forms part of the local government’s healthcare support programs aimed at helping residents access essential treatment.
