Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on August 31, 2023 met with Department of Public Works and Highways District Engineer Arnold Ocampo to ask for an update regarding the construction of Cutcut Flyover at the junction of Angeles-Porac Road and the Fil-Am Friendship Circumferential Road.

City Engineer Donato Dizon was with Mayor Lazatin during the short meeting.
According to Engr. Ocampo, this coming Sept. 10 and Sept. 17, 2023, the contractor of the said project will pour concrete deck slab at the said flyover.
The project aims to ease in-bound and out-bound traffic along Porac, Fil-Am Friendship Highway and Rizal Extension in Angeles City.
Mayor Lazatin said the volume of traffic in Barangay Cutcut, particularly at the intersection near the Holy Family Academy warrants a flyover to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
The flow of traffic will improve in the intersection that connects Porac town to Angeles City and the City of San Fernando to Fil-Am Friendship Circumferential Road all the way to the Clark Freeport Zone.
