Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the inauguration and turnover of the state-of-the art computer laboratories at the Angeles City National Trade School (ACNTS).
Mayor Lazatin was joined by Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo ‘Jon’ B. Lazatin II, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, and Department of Education Angeles City Schools Division Superintendent Engr. Edgard Domingo, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod..
“This initiative to establish the laboratories aims to equip students with digital skills and knowledge necessary for the digital age,” Mayor Lazatin said.
Two rooms were designated for the computer laboratories in Angeles City National Trade School. Each laboratory is equipped with 40 computers.
The city government also provided computer tables, chairs, printers, air conditioning units, smart televisions, and fiber optics internet connection for each lab.
