Angeles City Mayor Carmelo โ€œPogiโ€ Lazatin, Jr. is eyeing to build state-of-the-art computer laboratories with desktop computers and smart TVs in all 17 public high schools in the city.

The mayorโ€™s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel presided over a meeting today, June 22,  where, with some department heads and officers-in-charge present, the next steps for the construction of computer laboratories were tackled.

Members of the Information and Communication Technology Division, led by Michael Lising, City Engineerโ€™s Office, headed by Engr. Donato Dizon, and General Services Office, led by Evangeline Malonzo, already conducted an ocular inspection in the cityโ€™s public high schools to assess all the needs in their laboratories.

The city government will also install fiber optics internet connection in the said computer labs to aid public school students in their studies.

Also present during the meeting are City Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller, Engr. Dizon, Lising, Malonzo, CEO Architect Erika Mae Dizon, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso, City Nutrition Officer Jermaine Jam Aguila, and Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles.
