he Municipality of Mexico formally inaugurated and turned over the SGLG Incentive Fund Street Lights Project in Barangay Laput on November 19, 2025.

The event was attended by DILG Regional Director Aracelia San Jose, CESO III; DILG Pampanga Provincial Director Myra B. Moral Soriano, CESO V; MLGOO Concesa Novio; Councilor Ludette Sicat; Councilor Engr. Tristar Sotto; Municipal Administrator Engr. Mark Nestor Pineda; department and section heads of the municipal government; along with the Laput barangay officials, SK leadership, and residents. Rev. Fr. Dixie Paras officiated the blessing of the project.

Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales led the turnover ceremony, highlighting the importance of well-lit streets in ensuring safer roads, brighter public spaces, and continued progress for the community. He said the project reflects the municipality’s commitment to ‘Ing Bayung Mexico, Serbisyung Ating Pusu,’ as it brings tangible improvements to every household in the barangay.
