“Magserbisyu ku pu 24/7.” This was the heartfelt vow of newly elected Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda as she officially took her oath of office on June 12, coinciding with the province’s 127th Independence Day celebration.
Governor Pineda was sworn in by Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Mario Victor Leonen, in the presence of local officials, department heads, hospital directors, and provincial government employees.




Joining her in the oath taking ceremony were Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, 2nd District Representative and former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, 4th District Representative Anna York Bondoc, Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda, Lubao Councilor Jayson Victorino, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
In her message, Governor Pineda expressed pride in the accomplishments of her son, outgoing Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, particularly for his leadership during the pandemic.
“Proud ku keti, lalo na keti pandemya. E mi kinaya pareho, pati tatang na kasakit mi, pero atin yang pamagserbisyu keng Kapampangan. Ing aliwang probinsya, ali la makatuki, pero Delta atin yang dakal a accomplishment. King figures mu, makikita mung 90% megobra ya,” Nanay Pineda said.
The governor also assured Kapampangans of their continued service, promising to reach even the farthest barangays and ensure the delivery of programs for all sectors.
“E ku masaktan nung sabian dang Dynasty kame, uling pamagserbisyu ing minamana. Magtutulungan kame para keng pamag-obra king Kapampangan. Basta buri dakami ning Kapampangan, okay kami. Buri ku lang makasaup at atin dang alalang masabi para karing anak at apo da.”
Now on her fourth term as governor, Nanay Pineda returns to the Capitol after previously serving as governor from 2010 to 2019 and vice governor from 2019 to 2025.
As she begins her new term, Nanay Pineda remains committed to leading Pampanga with compassion, experience, and her trademark hands-on governance — true to her promise of round-the-clock service to every Kapampangan.
