The newly renovated Minalin Multipurpose Convention Center (MMCC) in Barangay Sta. Rita officially opened on January 29, 2026, marking the fulfillment of a long-standing commitment of Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda to the people of Minalin.
The modernized facility was inaugurated and blessed in ceremonies attended by Senator Lito Lapid, Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) Chief Operating Officer and former Governor Mark Lapid, Congresswoman Anna York Bondoc, Board Member Maynard Lapid, Fourth District Board Member Kaye Naguit, members of the Minalin Sangguniang Bayan, and the town’s barangay chairpersons.
Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit expressed gratitude for the rehabilitation of the old convention center, which was funded by the Pampanga Provincial Government. To acknowledge the support, the municipality installed a marker recognizing the ₱5 million allocated by the Capitol for the MMCC renovation.
The opening also coincided with the turnover of e-bikes for barangay health workers and the distribution of free maintenance medicines for senior citizens.
With its improved, spacious, and well-ventilated design, the MMCC is set to serve as a central venue for community events, government programs, and public services for Minaleños.
