The country’s longest-running provincial trade fair opened its doors at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, marking a milestone return for the Negros Trade Fair (NTF) with its 39th edition, “Himbon” — a Hiligaynon word that means to gather.
Nearly two decades since it last graced an SM venue, the beloved fair once again takes the spotlight, rekindling its legacy that began in the mid-1990s at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall. What started with just 30 vendors has now blossomed into a premier showcase of Negrense heritage and innovation.
Hosted by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP) in partnership with SM Supermalls, the grand opening drew government officials, business leaders, artisans, media, and influencers, all gathered to celebrate Negros’ enduring artistry and entrepreneurial spirit.

“This fair is more than an exhibition — it is a gathering that celebrates the best of Negros. We are honored to host it here at SMX Aura and help ensure that Negrense heritage and creativity continue to thrive for future generations,” said Steven Tan, President of SM Supermalls.
