OPPO Philippines, in partnership with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), brought competitive gaming straight to the grassroots through the OPPO x MLBB Barangay Caravan, transforming barangay courts in Bulacan and Pampanga into vibrant esports hubs.

The multi-leg tour featured 5v5 MLBB tournaments, community activities, and hands-on OPPO smartphone experiences, making esports more accessible to young Filipino gamers. The caravan drew local teams, MLBB fans, and Gen Z players for high-energy matches and interactive on-ground engagements that highlighted the growing appeal of grassroots esports.

OPPO co-presented select legs and led the official 5v5 tournaments in Barangays Bagong Barrio and Barrio in Pandi, Bulacan, as well as Barangays Cuayan and Sto. Domingo in Angeles City, Pampanga. Winning teams were awarded OPPO A3x smartphones, while each barangay’s Most Valuable Player received an OPPO A6 Pro.

In other stops—including Barangay Cacarong Bata in Pandi, Bulacan, and Barangays Panginay Cuayan and Cuayan in Angeles City—OPPO joined as a major sponsor, supporting tournament operations and on-site activities.

Beyond the competition, the caravan featured booth activations, giveaways, and the OPPO Legends Henyo segment, where participants showcased their MLBB knowledge for a chance to win prizes.

Through initiatives like the Barangay Caravan, OPPO and MLBB continue to champion grassroots esports, bringing gaming closer to communities and nurturing the next generation of Filipino esports talents.
