The Philippine Air Force proudly welcomed 62 newly-minted Second Lieutenants from the Philippine Military Academy “Bagong Sinag” Class of 2024 during their Courtesy Call to PAF Commanding General Lt. Gen. Stephen P. Parreño on July 9, 2024, at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

The Commanding General warmly welcomed the new Officers and urged them to uphold the PAF’s Core Values of Integrity, Service Above Self, Teamwork, Excellence, and Professionalism as they embark on their careers as defenders of the nation.

Lt. Gen. Parreño also emphasized the importance of the said values as the foundation for their success in safeguarding the Philippine skies and fulfilling their pivotal role in national defense.

Also present was the PAF Vice Commander MGen. Augustine S. Malinit, PAF Chief of Air Staff, MGen. Aristotle D. Gonzalez, Air Installation and Base Development Commander MGen. Pablo E. Rustria Jr. and members of the HPAF Staff.
