Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL), in partnership with the Lucio Tan Group, government agencies, and private sector partners, has transported nearly 20 tons of humanitarian cargo to assist residents affected by the recent earthquake in Cebu.
The Lucio Tan Group and Asia Brewery Corporation donated 3,000 three-liter water containers, totaling 19 tons, while the Philippine Red Cross contributed quick response hygiene kits and psychosocial kits weighing 654 kilos.

The PAL Foundation, Inc., the airline’s corporate social responsibility arm, coordinated the organized transport of relief goods with the help of PAL Cargo teams in Manila and Cebu.
PAL reaffirmed its commitment to supporting communities in need, saying it will continue to undertake humanitarian missions within its operational capacity, alongside regular flight schedules.
“PAL stands in solidarity with the people of Cebu during this challenging time and remains steadfast in providing support where it is needed most,” the airline said in a statement.
