PAL offers limited-time Korea fare discount as travel demand surges

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has rolled out a limited-time seat sale offering 10% off roundtrip base fares to South Korea, as travel demand to the country remains strong among Filipino tourists and Hallyu fans.

The promo gives travelers discounted access to major Korean gateways including Seoul Incheon and Busan, encouraging more Filipinos to explore the country’s pop culture, cuisine, and tourist destinations.

Travelers may book discounted fares within the promo period, with travel schedules covering immediate departures to Busan and later travel windows for Seoul, allowing passengers to plan trips for peak spring and summer seasons. Roundtrip Economy base fares start at around USD 220 for Seoul Incheon and USD 210 for Busan under the promotion.

Recent airline fare listings show roundtrip flights from Manila to South Korea available from about USD 228 all-in, depending on travel dates and availability.

The timing of the sale also aligns with South Korea’s busy entertainment calendar, including major concerts, fan events, and seasonal attractions such as cherry blossom viewing and popular filming locations featured in Korean dramas.

PAL continues to operate direct Manila-Busan flights, offering daily non-stop service with an average travel time of about three hours and 50 minutes, giving Filipino travelers convenient access to South Korea’s southern gateway.

As the country’s full-service flag carrier, PAL said it continues to focus on comfort, reliability, and Filipino hospitality as part of its international travel experience.

Bookings may be made through the PAL website, mobile app, ticketing offices, hotline, or accredited travel agents, while travelers are encouraged to monitor official PAL channels for updated promos and travel advisories.
