Philippine Airlines (PAL) has once again secured the top spot as the most punctual airline in the Asia Pacific region, recording an 84.67 percent On-Time Performance (OTP) rating for November 2025. The recognition marks the flag carrier’s fourth consecutive month leading regional carriers in punctuality.
The ranking is based on data from London-based aviation analytics firm Cirium, which monitors airline and airport on-time performance worldwide. PAL’s consistent performance from August to November 2025 underscores its operational reliability, with OTP scores of 89.37 percent in August, 90.47 percent in September, 86.37 percent in October, and 84.67 percent in November.
Cirium considers a flight on time when an aircraft arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival, a global benchmark reflecting both passenger expectations and airline compliance with airport slot requirements.
“The PAL team remains committed to achieving operational reliability and customer satisfaction through strong on-time performance. These results motivate us to continue raising the bar,” said Capt. Roland A. Narciso, Senior Vice President for PAL’s Operations Group. He also credited the airline’s flight and ground operations teams, engineers, and maintenance partners for their collective efforts in delivering safe, reliable, and pleasant journeys.
Earlier in 2025, PAL also ranked as the most punctual airline in April, second most punctual in January, and third in March. Complementing its operational achievements, the flag carrier recently received an APEX Four Star Major Airline rating, based on certified passenger feedback, further affirming its commitment to service excellence.
