PDL livelihood products showcased in Bocaue cultural event

The Bocaue District Jail, under the leadership of JCINSP Aaron Kevin S. Arevalo, successfully conducted a livelihood product selling activity featuring items made by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

The initiative was led by SJO1 Florecris M. Antigo, Chief of the Welfare and Development Unit, together with JO1 Mark Lester V. Comilang, Welfare and Development Officer. It was held in partnership with the Municipal History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (MHACTO) of Bocaue as part of the “Unang Sulyap – Unveiling Bocaue’s Talents in Arts and Culture” program at Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Marciano Campus.

The activity aimed to promote and sell products crafted by PDLs, providing them with livelihood opportunities while supporting their rehabilitation through community engagement. Jail officials said the program highlights the importance of skills development and public participation in reintegration efforts.
