PEAK TRAVEL REMINDERS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

As the holiday travel rush begins, Cebu Pacific (CEB) reminds passengers to plan ahead for a safe and smooth journey. Travelers are encouraged to take note of the following reminders to avoid delays and ensure a hassle-free airport experience:

  1. Check your airport terminal assignment
Before heading to the airport, review your itinerary and boarding pass, paying close attention to your flight number and terminal:
  • 5J flights – Operated by Cebu Pacific using jet aircraft; depart from and arrive at NAIA Terminal 3
  • DG flights – Operated by Cebgo using turboprop aircraft; operate at NAIA Terminal 2
  • T6 flights – Operated by AirSWIFT using turboprop aircraft; also operate at NAIA Terminal 2
  1. Arrive early at the airport
With heavier road traffic expected, passengers are advised to arrive at least 3 hours before domestic flights and 4 hours before international flights. Passengers bound for Dubai may check in as early as 7 hours before departure.
  • Check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 1 hour before departure for international flights
  • Boarding starts 45 minutes before scheduled departure
  1. Check in online
Avoid long queues by checking in through the Cebu Pacific mobile app or website. Online check-in is available:
  • 48 hours to 1 hour before departure for domestic flights
  • 48 hours to 2 hours before departure for international flights
Passengers without checked baggage may proceed directly to the boarding gate.
  1. Complete eTravel forms for international trips
International passengers should register or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure and arrival and save the generated QR code.
  • Roundtrip travelers must complete the form twice (departure and arrival)
  • The form can be accessed via the eGovPH app or www.etravel.gov.ph
  1. Follow baggage policies
    Passengers may bring:
  • One carry-on bag for the overhead bin
  • One personal item to fit under the seat
Both must not exceed a combined weight of 7kg
Prepaid baggage purchased online is up to 4x cheaper than airport rates and may be bought up to 2 hours before departure.
  1. Observe rules for electronic devices and power banks
  • Personal electronic devices must be placed in hand-carry baggage only
  • Power banks up to 100Wh are allowed; 100Wh–160Wh require approval
  • Power banks must not be used or charged during the flight
  1. Self-tag luggage at select airports
Passengers departing from select domestic airports, including Manila, Clark, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod, and others, are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage before proceeding to bag drop counters.

Cebu Pacific thanks every Juan for choosing to fly with them and looks forward to sharing more safe and memorable journeys this holiday season. For complete travel guidelines, visit the CEB Help Center.
