The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) was recognized with the Strategic Communication Recognition Award at the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) held in Brunei Darussalam on November 4.

The award honors the “Alagang PhilHealth” media program of PhilHealth Region 3, which aims to raise public awareness on health benefits and financial risk protection for its members.

A highlight of the campaign is the new segment “PhilHealth D.R.I.P” (Dinig. Ramdam. Insurance. Proteksyon.), featuring inspiring stories of beneficiaries.
