PH generates over ₱600M in sales leads at ITB Asia 2025

The Philippines, through the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), achieved over ₱600 million in sales leads during its participation in ITB Asia 2025, held from October 15 to 17 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

The Philippine delegation, composed of 23 accredited sellers including hotels, resorts, airlines, and tour operators, secured 842 business appointments during the three-day event, which gathered more than 18,000 trade attendees and 1,500 qualified buyers from across the globe.

With a 171-square-meter booth featuring capiz accents and stunning visuals of top destinations, the Philippines attracted strong interest from leisure, corporate, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors.

TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles said the country’s success reflects the global demand for authentic and diverse travel experiences. “By engaging with highly diverse tourism players, TPB continues to build momentum and strengthen partnerships across global markets,” she said.

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo Macaraig also visited the booth to show his support, joined by TPB officials Marivic Sevilla and Micaela Ochoa. Sevilla also met with Palawan Governor Amy Roa Alvarez to explore ways to further boost Palawan’s global visibility through international fairs.

Throughout the event, the Philippines promoted a diverse range of destinations and experiences—from diving and adventure travel to halal tourism and MICE events —underscoring its commitment to maintaining its competitive edge as a top destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
