With integrity and commitment to upholding core professional values and fostering growth within the accounting community as guiding principle, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) — Pampanga Chapter on 16 August celebrated its 59th Induction and turnover ceremonies.
With the theme “Integrity in Action: Elevating Values Above All,” PICPA National President, Hon. Atty. Roland C. Pondoc served as the inducting officer for the new set of 2024-2025 Officers and Board of Directors.
Arrey A. Perez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), who also served as the inducting officer for the 2024 Officers and Board of Trustees of PICPAngan Foundation, Inc., delivered the keynote address, focusing on CIAC’s seven flagship programs aimed at enhancing infrastructure development and forging strategic partnerships.
In celebration of the event, a series of informative technical sessions, led by Meynard L. Sandalla, tax manager from SGV & Co., who presented the morning session on “BIR Tax Trends and Developments,” offering valuable insights into current tax regulations, was held.
Also in attendance during the afternoon session was Erlinda G. Maglanque who led the presentation on “Mastering Burnout Management & Resilience,” addressing critical strategies for managing stress and enhancing personal well-being.
A significant moment of the event was the turnover of responsibilities from outgoing President Jaypee Lagman to incoming President Daniel Bungay.
The ceremony was supported by the attendance of esteemed regional officers, including Senior Regional Director Ms. Rowena A. Reyes, Junior Regional Director Mr. Ronald Leabres, and PICPA Executive Director Annalisa Chua-Dycaico, whose contributions were pivotal to the success of the event.
The event underscored a renewed commitment to integrity and excellence within the accounting profession, setting a positive and ambitious tone for the year ahead.
