PLDT Home is sharpening its growth strategy by expanding its digital home services portfolio and accelerating its prepaid fiber rollout, aiming to deliver stronger everyday value to Filipino households while maintaining capital discipline.
The broadband arm of PLDT Inc. is doubling down on digital services as consumers spend more time — and budget — on streaming, smart-home technology, and gaming. The company reported sustained demand for bundled plans that integrate platforms such as Netflix, Cignal TV, and HBO Max, helping drive customer retention and higher-value subscriptions.
Under its Home Life lineup, mesh WiFi systems and home security kits are positioned as practical add-ons that elevate basic connectivity into smarter and safer home solutions. Meanwhile, the IGV Game Pass — offering access to over 200 PC games — is tapping into gaming-focused households and opening new monetization opportunities.
At the same time, PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid is emerging as a key growth driver in a price-sensitive market. Built on the company’s fiber network standards, the prepaid option provides pay-as-you-go flexibility for value-conscious families, while postpaid plans continue to cater to higher-usage households seeking bundled services and premium features.
“Our direction is clear: convert network investments into everyday value through richer digital services and accessible prepaid options,” said John Y. Palanca, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business – Home. “Prepaid fiber is essential in today’s environment. It gives more families a pathway to reliable fiber, at a price that fits their needs — while ensuring the economics remain disciplined and sustainable.”
As of end-December 2025, the PLDT Group’s fiber network covered approximately 1.25 million cable kilometers across domestic and international routes. PLDT Home posted ₱61 billion in service revenues in 2025, up 3 percent year-on-year. Fiber revenues rose 6 percent to ₱59.4 billion, now accounting for 98 percent of the segment. Fiber net additions reached 392,000, bringing total fiber subscribers to 3.76 million.
