PNB Holdings, Rezbin launch EcoStation to strengthen waste management efforts

PNB Holdings Corporation (PHC) has rolled out EcoStation, a new waste recycling program, through a strategic partnership with Rezbin, a multi-awarded, technology-enabled waste management company, as part of its continuing sustainability initiatives.

The EcoStation program is designed to make responsible waste disposal simple, measurable, and accessible across PHC’s major properties, reinforcing the company’s commitment to responsible waste management and sustainability.

PHC Chief Operating Officer Joselito R. Consunji said sustainability remains a key pillar of the company’s transformation roadmap.

“As a property developer and asset manager, it is our responsibility to build and operate in a way that uplifts communities and protects the environment,” Consunji said. “Our partnership with Rezbin demonstrates PHC’s commitment to responsible business practices. Beyond compliance, we want to take meaningful steps that encourage a culture of sustainability among our employees, tenants, and partners.”

EcoStation integrates Rezbin’s technology-enabled recycling system, which uses a behavior-driven, rewards-based approach to promote proper waste segregation. The system addresses waste management challenges by encouraging habit-forming recycling practices through a simple and user-friendly process.

Under the program, users follow a three-step process—scan, snap, and toss—when disposing of recyclables. Participants earn eco-points for every valid drop-off, which can be redeemed for rewards via the Rezbin mobile application. The platform also provides administrators with real-time dashboards to track the volume and types of recyclables collected, ensuring transparent reporting and measurable environmental impact within PHC-managed properties.

Rezbin Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mari Martirez welcomed the partnership, noting its potential to drive wider adoption of sustainable practices.

“Rezbin was built on the belief that recycling should be simple, accessible, and impactful,” Martirez said. “Partnering with PNB Holdings allows us to bring our behavior-driven recycling system to major commercial properties and empower communities to adopt sustainable habits that lead to real, measurable impact.”

The EcoStation launch forms part of PHC’s broader sustainability strategy, which includes enhancing waste management systems, reducing environmental footprint, and preparing future developments to meet higher standards of environmental responsibility.
