The Basic Journalism Training series of the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) commenced February 23, with PPC Chairman Tonette Orejas discussing newswriting before 50 students and teachers.
The launch was joined by Department of Education (DepEd) Pampanga Schools Division Office (SDO) Superintendent Dr. Romeo M. Alip, Chief of Curriculum Implementation Dr. Celia Lacanlale, Education Program Supervisor and Journalism Coordinator June Cunanan and Broadcasting Team member of SDO Pampanga Jonathan Abubo.
The lecture series, which is sponsored by Royce Hotel and Casino, will cover other journalism subjects and is set to run for several months.
