The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Central Luzon has achieved notable milestones in improving its services and maintaining exceptional examination results, underscoring its commitment to efficiency and excellence.
PRC Regional Director Paul Aban announced during the 28th episode of the Philippine Information Agencyβs π²ππππππ ππ π©πππππ π·ππππππππ that nearly all transactions in the region have shifted online. This move aims to streamline processes and enhance convenience for applicants.
βTransactions start with an online appointment, which is confirmed upon payment. Applicants only need to visit the office on their scheduled date. Services like getting a license ID or notice of admission are processed within five minutes,β Aban explained.
To further modernize operations, PRC Central Luzon has transitioned to digital payment systems, discontinuing over-the-counter transactions due to resource limitations. βThis system will remain in place until we establish our regional office,β Aban added.
The PRC conducts board examinations in public school facilities across Central Luzon through an agreement with the Department of Education. Among the exams, the Licensure Examination for Teachers consistently attracts the highest number of examinees, with recent figures reaching 9,000 applicants.
Central Luzon continues to outperform national averages, with a 2023 passing rate of 53.01%, exceeding the national rate of 50.79%, and producing 27 topnotchers. As of October 16, 2024, the regionβs passing rate has climbed to 56.00%, surpassing the national rate of 54.07%.
βWe ensure strict adherence to policies during examinationsβno leakages, no cheatingβresulting in not just a high number of passers but quality passers,β Aban emphasized.
The region has also produced numerous topnotchers, including first, second, and third placers in various licensure exams, reinforcing its reputation as a center of excellence.
