Police Regional Office 3 hosted on Monday, 15 April, the 1st Central Luzon Anti-Illegal Drugs Summit, which was attended by some 200 participants.

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3, headed by Atty. Anthony Nuyda,  spearheaded the summit, which was aimed at sustaining the collaborative efforts to continuously fight illegal drugs and push maximum community awareness on the problem. 

PRO 3 Regional Director PBGen. Jose S. Hidalgo, Jr. said key officials of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 3, Department of Health 3, Department of Justice 3 and municipal and barangay officials from various provinces regionwide were also present during the half-day summit.

Hidalgo also said that the summit is timely as the campaign against illegal drugs is one of the priority programs of PNP Chief PGen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil.  

PRO3 continues to gain headway on its campaign against illegal drugs as Central Luzon cops remain committed to stopping the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
