The Aglibut Sweet Tamarind variety of Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) underwent Plant Material Evaluation for Certification, led by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III – Regulatory Division, in coordination with the Bureau of Plant Industry–National Seed Quality Control Services (BPI-NSQCS).
The certification is a key requirement for the Plant Nursery Accreditation of the PSAU Sweet Tamarind Nursery under the Tamarind Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Center, headed by Ms. Warlina M. Guzman.

The evaluation aims to ensure the quality and suitability of the planting materials prior to propagation, supporting PSAU and DA’s continued efforts to strengthen agricultural research and local crop development.
