Pampanga State University (PSU) has postponed its scheduled graduation ceremonies on August 14 and 15 following a reported bomb threat.
Pampanga Police Director Col. Eugene Marcelo said a student received the threat through a phone message. Authorities are conducting an investigation to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Marcelo assured that the university may resume the ceremonies once the probe is completed and the area is deemed secure.
In a Facebook post, PSU announced the postponement but did not disclose the reason. “We sincerely apologize to our guests, visitors, parents, and candidates for graduation for the inconvenience,” the statement read.
