Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Pampanga and Prime Infra Foundation joined hands to deliver much-needed relief to residents of Porac affected by days of heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon and Typhoon Crising. Around 1,200 individuals from Barangays Planas, Pio, Calantas, and Camias received essential supplies as part of a coordinated relief operation.
Each beneficiary received a relief pack containing 2 kilograms of rice, canned goods, noodles, and coffee. The operation began on Wednesday, July 23, with 40 volunteers—including members of the WASH Group from Katutubo Village and youth leaders from Barangay Planas—mobilized to repack and distribute goods the following day.

“We prepared for our fellow community members. Prime Waste Solutions is here to help them get back on their feet,” said PWS Pampanga General Manager Jake Lachica during the distribution.
Bernadette Tan, Programs and Operations Head of Prime Infra Foundation, emphasized that the initiative is part of the organization’s broader mission to build stronger, more resilient communities. “It’s important to show our support during challenging times. We’re also working on livelihood and sustainability projects to support long-term recovery,” Tan said.
Barangay Planas Captain Alfer Nacu expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. “We are thankful to Prime Waste Solutions for voluntarily extending help to our community. Many were affected by the typhoon, and this kind of support means so much to us.”
Sangguniang Kabataan Chairwoman Joyce Cunanan also thanked the organizations. “We truly appreciate the help given to those affected by the flooding here in Planas. We hope they continue to help more people in need,” she said.
This effort forms part of PWS Pampanga and Prime Infra Foundation’s ongoing commitment to community development and disaster resilience in their host areas—reflecting a long-term vision of partnership-driven progress and social responsibility.
PWS Pampanga, a key unit under Prime Infra, operates the only large-scale materials recovery facility (MRF) in Luzon.
