โAT NGAYON, malapit na ang wakas, dahil darating na ang malaking pagbabago!โ
So as one Facebook post said, that caught my attentionโฆ the post featured the picture of Paniqui Mayor Max Roxas on his way to the Provincial Comelec Office with a caption, โAnd nowโฆ The end is near!โ (sic).
Well, yes, I have to agree that indeed malapit na ang wakasโฆ the end is near. But I am 100-percent sure that the political end will not be for Congressman and NPC gubernatorial candidate Christian Tell Yap but for someone else.
First, Christian is a political star on the rise. At the tender age of 39, he still has a long, long way to go with regard to his political career. His opposition? I cannot say that he is still young and healthy.
Second, Christian, despite his young age, is already a seasoned public servant without any controversy and with so many accomplishments and sponsored legislations.
He is a former mayor of Victoria town and an incumbent congressman.
His opposition? Well, his constituents, Congressman Jaime and some of his municipal councilors can attest to the kind of performance he has rendered for almost nine years.
Third, Christian has the political pedigree, educational background and dedication to continue what his grandfather Aping, uncle Vic and mother Susan has done for the province.
It is quite obvious that Tarlac Province prospered under the Yaps and will continue to prosper under Christian.
His opposition? Well, until now, I am at a lost—what can he offer Tarlaqueรฑos?
Lastly, Christian is God-fearing just like the rest of the Yaps. Have you heard Christian quarreling with anybody? Have you heard Christian utter invectives (pag-mumura)? Have you heard Christian get-even (nag-higanti) with anybody?
His opposition? Well, he is the opposite.
Now, they shout pagbabago?
Would you want to put an old and sickly leader at the capitol? Would you like to see our governor quarrel with everybody? Would you like to have a leader that has no clear plan for the province and would you like to have a leader that always utter invectives and is very much into political vendetta?
Pagbabago — yes for the better and not for the worse.
Christian Yap has all the tools and the backing to make Tarlac Province prosper even more.
He has youth, charisma, knowledge, dedication, faith in Tarlaqueรฑos and trust in our Almighty.
Bow.
