The City Government of Palayan once again gave anti-COVID 19 medicines to the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) of the Philippine Army.
Palayan Mayor Mayor Viandrei Nicole Cuevas personally turned over six (6) boxes of Molnupiravir, anti-viral drug for those suffering from COVID-19, to 7ID Commander Major General Andrew Costelo.
Costelo expressed gratitude to the local government for the constant support. According to him, the drugs received will help in preparation for anything that may be caused by COVID-19. The medicine, he added, will benefit not only the soldiers, personnel, division units but also the needy citizens especially those living inside the camp.
Meanwhile, Mayor Cuevas said that the local government will continue to be a partner in the fight against COVID-19 as well as in the delivery of various services to the communities. (PIA 3)
