Park Inn by Radisson Clark clinches back-to-back championship at OPFBEX 2025

Park Inn by Radisson Clark has once again proven its culinary mastery after securing the championship title for the second year in a row at the One Pampanga Food and Beverage Expo (OPFBEX) 2025 Culinary Cook-Off held on September 14 at SMX Convention Center Clark.

Chefs Melvin Tiamzon and Jamaica Juachon impressed judges with their dish, Pesang Asan en Papillote — a fusion of the traditional Kapampangan pesang asan and the French papillote technique, showcasing a perfect harmony of local flavors and international flair.

This back-to-back win highlights the hotel’s growing reputation for culinary excellence in Pampanga’s vibrant food scene. Park Inn by Radisson Clark General Manager Lorenzo Tang lauded the chefs, calling the victory “a testament to the passion and dedication of our culinary team.”

The winning duo was mentored by the hotel’s Executive Chef Jose Carmelito Quizon, whose guidance helped refine their creativity and execution. Organized by the Hotels and Restaurant Association of Pampanga (HARP), the competition gathered top chefs from across the province, making Park Inn’s repeat victory a proud moment for Clark’s culinary community.
