Philippine Airlines (PAL) recently celebrated the exceptional achievements of its top travel partners through two major awards ceremonies, recognizing their outstanding contributions to global tourism and the airline’s business success.
A historic milestone was reached as PAL held its first-ever back-to-back PAL Awards Philippines and PAL Awards International events from March 3 to 7, 2025, at the Discovery Samal Resort in Davao City. This marked the first time in the airline’s 84-year history that both local and international travel agents were honored at a single venue.
The 2025 PAL Awards celebrations, a continuation of the airline’s annual tradition of honoring key partners, welcomed PAL’s most valued travel partners, special guests, top executives, and international sales team members.

The PAL Awards Philippines, held on March 3 and 4, focused on recognizing local partners, with over 150 attendees representing 54 travel agencies and service companies. Awards were presented to outstanding agents, followed by product presentations from Honorable Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region XI, and PAL executives Salvador Britanico Jr., VP for Sustainability and Strategy, and Alvin Miranda, VP for Marketing.
On March 5 and 6, the PAL Awards International event celebrated more than 150 participants from 95 travel companies across PAL’s sales districts, spanning North America, Oceania, East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, India, and other regions. An exclusive networking session gave international partners and local industry leaders the chance to explore new opportunities to promote leisure and business travel to the Philippines, supported by PAL’s vast network of nonstop flights.

“Our success in connecting people across the globe, especially to and from the Philippines, is a result of our strong collaboration with travel agency partners worldwide,” said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng. “We honor your dedication and trust, which helps Philippine Airlines soar higher each year.”
As part of the celebration, top awardees enjoyed an exclusive tour of Davao in partnership with DOT Region XI, visiting major tourist destinations such as the Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort and Chocolate Museum, and the Poblacion Market.
The PAL Awards highlight the airline’s deep appreciation for its partners, nurturing a culture of excellence and fostering valuable collaboration in the travel industry.
