“Thank you to the entire Pineda family. I hope they continue to help many others like me,” said a tearful Aling Bernadette, a 50-year-old cancer patient, who recently received personal assistance from the Pineda family.

Bernadette was diagnosed with breast cancer in June and has been relying solely on the support of her siblings for her treatment. She expressed her immense gratitude for the financial assistance provided by Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab.

Aside from Bernadette, over 50 other cancer patients from the City of San Fernando also received cash assistance of P2,000 each. Furthermore, the provincial government is actively distributing additional support by providing guarantee letters for their chemotherapy treatments.
