The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, carried out a Roving and Reach-Out Operation to safeguard minors and vulnerable adults, in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), ACTIVE, and the PNP Women and Children Protection Unit (WCPU).

During the operation, seven minors (six males, one female) and three adults (two males, one female) were rescued and referred to Kanlungan ng Kabataan for temporary shelter and care. Preventive warnings and counseling were also given to nine minors and four adults to ensure safety and compliance.

The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to child protection, social welfare, and coordinated community interventions, reflecting the spirit of “May Malasakit na Angeleño.”
