The Medical and Dental Unit (MDU) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) immediately conducted a medical assessment on Sherra De Juan after she was safely fetched by personnel of QCPD Police Station 5, together with her family, from Pangasinan on December 29.
The group arrived in Manila at around 1:10 a.m. on December 30, where De Juan was promptly examined by the QCPD MDU to ensure her physical condition following the long journey.

Based on the initial medical evaluation, De Juan reported experiencing nausea. The assessment noted that she had been consuming mostly water for several days and had only recently resumed eating, which may have caused her symptoms. No signs of any serious illness were found, and her vital signs remained stable at the time of examination.
Medical personnel identified her condition as possibly acid-peptic disease or dyspepsia, commonly caused by irregular eating patterns. She was given appropriate medication, advised on proper diet and adequate rest, and provided with clear instructions for follow-up should her condition not improve.
The QCPD emphasized that the safety, health, and welfare of every individual remain its priority, especially in sensitive situations requiring immediate medical attention and compassionate care.
The QCPD continues to coordinate with De Juan’s family to ensure her full recovery and well-being.
