Vice Governor Delta Pineda, together with Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and the Pampanga PDRRMO, deployed a wheel-type backhoe to clear the trash that clogged the NIA floodgate in Matubig Creek, Sta. Ana, which led to the collapse of the earth dike in Barangay San Agustin.
Based on reports, the debris originated from Arayat. A long-arm backhoe was also dispatched to clear the other side of the floodgate.
Vice Governor Pineda thanked Sta. Ana Mayor Dinan Labung for his prompt response, as well as the residents who joined the cleanup in the spirit of bayanihan.
