𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄

Five (5) overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) affected by the ongoing conflict in Haiti received immediate assistance and reintegration support upon their arrival at the NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City Tuesday evening.

The five OFWs voluntarily requested for repatriation from the Department of Migrant Workers and immediately assisted through the DMW AKSYON Fund.

Meanwhile, ten (10) Filipino crewmen of M/V Transworld Navigator safely arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City this evening via Cathay Pacific CX 903. The seafarers sought repatriation after their vessel was recently attacked by the Houthi rebels while traversing the Red Sea.

This is the first two batches from the OFWs who requested repatriation from Haiti due to violent gang activities in the Caribbean country. They were assisted by the Department of Migrant Workers and immediately assisted through the DMW AKSYON Fund.
