SÍKANÁN 2026 Trade Fair highlights local MSMEs

Local entrepreneurs and student consumers gathered at the Student Center of Holy Angel University on March 12 for the SÍKANÁN 2026 Trade Fair, a one-day marketplace showcasing locally made food products, crafts, and specialty items.

The event, held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., featured 15 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by the Department of Trade and Industry. Participating businesses included A Taste of Angel’s Food Delights, Aroma De Pampanga Perfume Shop, Caloneya’s Bakeshop, Catchi’s Bakehouse, Cristiana’s Arts and Crafts, Ensaymanny, Hanna’s Flower Garden, IZZAMAWY Pastries and Delicacies, JCDJ Food Services, Jenny’s Meat Processing, Kakanen by Mommy Jhoe, Lola Puring’s Food Products, Mobee Sweet Treats, NutriDelight, and Stichery by Hannah.

The SÍKANÁN Trade Fair aimed to provide market opportunities for local MSMEs by connecting them directly with consumers within the university community. Through the initiative, entrepreneurs were able to promote their products, reach new customers, and gain valuable selling experience.

Students, faculty, and staff also enjoyed a diverse selection of locally produced food, baked goods, handicrafts, and specialty items during the event.

Organizers said the activity highlights ongoing efforts to support and empower local entrepreneurs while strengthening linkages between MSMEs and institutional markets.
