SM Cares, SM City Clark collab with AUdventures to host Autism Society Special Bowling Tour

SM City Clark, in partnership with SM Bowling, proudly hosted an exclusive Bowling Tournament for the Autism Society of the Philippines (ASP), San Fernando and Angeles City Chapters.  This is part of ASP’s AUdventures program, which provides children and their families with a memorable and fun-filled experience and inclusive environment in the mall. This event is part of SM Cares’ corporate social responsibility efforts, demonstrating their commitment to assisting the community and fostering inclusivity.

SM Bowling, which is committed in creating accessible spaces for all, offers state-of-the-art facilities equipped with Lane Bumpers and Slider Guides. These features enable individuals with disabilities to actively participate in the sport of bowling, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for everyone. This aligns perfectly with SM’s unwavering dedication to advocating for Persons with Disabilities, transforming their malls into welcoming spaces for all.

SM City Clark Mall Manager Jerwin Jalandoni expressed his enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “At SM, we firmly believe that inclusivity should be at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to support Autism Society of the Philippines (ASP) and SM Cares in organizing this exceptional Bowling Tournament. All these are aligned to SM’s advocacy for Persons with Disabilities, making our malls a mall for all.”

The Bowling Tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from children and their families associated with ASP, an organization focused on empowering individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and fostering acceptance and inclusion in society, 

The event was a resounding success, filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared sense of joy. Beyond the competitive aspect, the tournament served as a catalyst for families to bond and create lasting memories in a supportive and inclusive setting.

Widespread recognition has been accorded to SM Supermalls dedication to assisting programs that advance accessibility and diversity. PWD-friendly amenities like that of SM Bowling Centers around the nation have dramatically increased the involvement of people with disabilities in recreational activities, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.
