In a recent membership meeting of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA), Secretary Frederick Go, the Special Assistant to the President on Investments and Economic Affairs, shared updates on the latest developments in business and trade. He engaged in a productive conversation with Pampanga Press Club President Noel G. Tulabut.
Tulabut, who also serves on the Board of Directors of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), expressed strong support for initiatives aimed at attracting more investments and creating job opportunities in the Clark Freeport Zone and the Clark Special Economic Zone, home to New Clark City. Go referred to these areas as Greater Clark or One Clark, highlighting their importance in the country’s economic growth.
Go is widely recognized for his pivotal role in the passage of Republic Act 12066, also known as the CREATE MORE Law, which was enacted last year. The law is designed to streamline and enhance investment incentives, making the Philippines a more attractive destination for both local and foreign investors.
