The Arts, Culture & Tourism Office of Pampanga (ACTOP), Provincial Government of Pampanga and Board Member Winwin Garbo led the Stakeholders’ Consultation & Workshop on Safeguarding the Christmas Lantern Tradition.
ACTOP head Mike Castaรฑeda, with the assistance of the National Commission on Culture and the Arts and UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines Secretary General Dr. Ivan Henares, as observer, formulated a plan to keep the lantern making tradition alive.
Governor Dennis โDeltaโ Pineda expressed gratitude to the volunteers, cultural heritage advocates and tourism officers who attended the event.
