The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched the enhanced eTravel system with the integration of the OFW Pass in the eGovApp for seamless travel experience for OFWs.

Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac expressed gratitude to the DICT for the initiative to streamline and modernize the travel process for travelers, and for the support to the DMW in its compliance to the Presidential directives to make life better and easier for OFWs and their families.

The integration of the OFW Pass or the digital alternative to the overseas employment certificate of OFWs to the eGovApp is a testament to the whole-of-government approach in empowering OFWs and their families through digital transformation and inter-operability of the different government systems.
