The City Engineer’s Office carried out debris clearing operations along Abacan Loop in Barangay Ninoy Aquino.

The activity was conducted under the directive of Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, reinforcing the local government’s proactive approach to flood prevention, particularly in areas situated near waterways.

City officials emphasized that regular clearing and maintenance activities are essential in reducing potential flooding risks, preventing drainage obstructions, and ensuring the safety of residents living along riverbanks.

The Angeles City local government also urged the public to support these initiatives by practicing proper waste disposal and helping keep waterways free from debris for the welfare of all Angeleños.
