Marking a milestone of commitment to community service and camaraderie, the Pi Sigma Fraternity-Pampanga Chapter celebrated its 45th anniversary with a “Greatness @45” Barong-Filipiniana Night gala in Angeles City.
Founded at the University of the Philippines Diliman on August 15, 1972, amidst a time of political unrest, Pi Sigma’s Pampanga chapter took root on October 27, 1979, carrying forward its legacy as the “Paragon of Scholars.” Distinguished members, including the late Senator Raul Roco, Kabataan representative Terry Ridon, and diplomat-journalist Consul General Elmer Cato, are among its alumni.
Department of Transportation Undersecretary and fraternity pioneer Jeremy Regino delivered an inspiring keynote, underscoring Pi Sigma’s ongoing role in nation-building.
Alvin Chincuanco, the fraternity’s provincial president and a banker, highlighted the chapter’s enduring dedication to leadership and service. Recently, Pi Sigma members from medical and dental fields led a healthcare mission and distributed grocery packages to 150 families in Macabebe’s coastal community. Embodying their motto, “Paglingkuran ang Sambayanan,” Pi Sigma remains dedicated to uplifting lives across Pampanga.
