Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on August 14, 2024 signed a deed of absolute sale with Jericho De Guzman to sell, transfer, and convey parcels of lands located in Barangay Claro M. Recto, which shall be utilized as a socialized housing project of the city government.

Around 33 residents of Barangay Claro M. Recto will be the beneficiaries of the said socialized housing project.

The Angeles City Government had undertaken programs to uplift the condition of the underprivileged and homeless citizens in urban areas and in resettlement areas by making available to them decent housing at affordable cost, basic services, employment and opportunities and to reduce if not totally eradicate squatting in the City.

This is under the city’s Socialized Housing Program implemented by the Angeles City Human Settlement and Urban Development Office (ACHSUDO), headed by City Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller.

Also present during the signing are Atty. Suller, and members of the Barangay Claro M. Recto Council led by Punong Barangay Alexander De Guzman.
