Around 1,000 runners from various government agencies, private institutions, and local communities joined the Subic International Marathon (SIM) 2026 held at Remy Field, Subic Bay Freeport Zone on February 7, 2026.

The event officially kicked off with the ceremonial Organizers’ Team Parade led by SIM Founder and Organizer PBGen. Samson Tucay (Ret.), together with Philippine National Police Deputy Chief for Administration PLtGen. Bernard Banac and Central Luzon Police Regional Director PBGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, signaling the official gun start of the race.

The annual marathon is organized by eXtribe, Inc., with hydration partner JCIR Events Management, and carried this year’s theme, “Run with Heart and Purpose.”
