In a bid to strengthen local agriculture and boost productivity, Angeles City farmers recently received new farming equipment and inputs through the support of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the City Agriculture Office.
The distribution included a truck, coffee pulper, coffee roaster, and other essential farm inputs designed to enhance sustainable farming practices and increase yield for local farmers.
Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin encouraged residents to support local farmers by buying and promoting locally produced goods. “Let’s work together to uplift our agriculture sector and strengthen the economy of Angeles City,” he said.
The initiative is part of the city government’s ongoing efforts to empower Angeleños engaged in farming, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed for a more productive and sustainable livelihood.
